Abstract
|

|
This study was undertaken to investigate the effects of a Treatment action of regular dynamic exercise, caloric restriction and high protein diet on weighed reduction, endurance capacity and certain metabolic and parameters in blood in four middle aged males containing to over, Seram cholesterol and triglyceride levels showed a sharp decline within the first 20-30 years of caloric restriction and thereafter maintained at low levels throughout the reduction period, realimentation, however, brought about a rapid rise of serum lipid levels toward the initial individual values.
These results indicated that a high protein diet did not exert any additional effects on preventing the physiological deficits which had previously appeared during the treatment of obesity by both exercise and a moderate protein diet.
